Marie’s Passion Fruit Pie


Marie’s Passion Fruit Pie is always a hit at Blue Osa.  Rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber, passion fruit is a powerhouse of health combined with taste.  With just one bite, this recipe will make you passionate about passionfruit too!

Marie’s Passion Fruit Pie


3/4 cup butter cookies, crushed

3/4 stick butter, melted

1  3/4 oz. condensed milk

1  3/4 oz. coconut cream

1 cup dry, un-sweetened coconut flakes

3 passion fruits, blended

3 eggs


Preheat oven to 350F.
In a mixing bowl combine crushed butter cookies and melted butter until moist. Press the mixture firmly into a 12-inch springform pan.  Set aside.
Combine condensed milk, coconut cream, dry coconut, passion fruit and eggs in a blender and pulse the mixture until thoroughly incorporated. Pour over crust. Bake for 30 minutes at 350F or until set, checking halfway.

  1. Hello. I tried your recipe and I found the measurements to be off. I didn’t have enough crushed butter cookies to line the pan and the cookies were swimming in melted butter. Also he passion fruit mixture was the consistency of a thin liquid. It took a lot longer than 30 minutes at 250 degrees Fahrenheit to cook through. The flavors are great but the ratios and cooking temperature seem off. Am I missing something?
