The Blue Osa signature Spicy Cocktail comes to you from the shores of Costa Rica. It will wake up your senses and offer a surprising south-of-the-border kick. Our farm-to-table cocktail uses home grown jalapenos and mint from our organic garden. Local passion fruit and lemons infuse the drink with the exotic essence of the tropics. The staple liquor of Costa Rica, Cacique, offers the spirit, while a spritz of soda water sparkles the beverage with bubbles. If you like a little heat with each sip, this infusion is the fiery cocktail you’ve been waiting for.

Spicy Cocktail

From the Kitchen of Blue Osa


4 slices of lemon
4 crushed leaves of fresh mint
1 teaspoon of sugar
½ of one diced jalapeno
2 oz. Cacique
2 oz. passion fruit juice
1 oz. soda water


  1. Muddle lemon, mint, sugar and jalapeno in the bottom of the glass
  2. Add Cacique, passion fruit juice, a splash of soda water
  3. Pour cocktail into shaker with ice and shake
  4. Pour shaker into glass
  5. Garnish with a sprig of mint or lemon wedge
