The tour begins bright and early at 5:30 a.m. and will be guided by one of Blue Osa’s certified tour guides. It lasts two hours, and you will walk down the road outside the retreat center for one hour out and one hour back. This is an easy-level, beginner hike that can even be done in flip-flops and everyday clothes. Just get up, go, and enjoy!

On this short walk, you will see many magnificent animals, birds, and fauna. Some familiar sights include howler monkeys, spider monkeys swinging from the trees, and squirrel monkeys gathering their morning breakfast. As for birds, you will likely see roadside hawks, red-lored Amazon parrots, scarlet macaws, stunning Tucans, and more!

Your educated guide will be able to get you up close and personal with his telescope and binoculars.
