Leah Morgan — Core Balance Yoga Center
Leah’s yoga journey began out of pure curiosity — she rolled out a mat at a local health club and never looked back. That first class led her to become a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, studying with inspiring leaders including Max Strom, Sadie Nardini, and Doug Swenson. Her teaching style blends breathing, alignment, and genuine fun — meeting students exactly where they are.
In addition to her yoga certification, Leah holds credentials in Pilates, Radiant Child Yoga, and Laughter Yoga. She is the founder of Core Balance Yoga in Lee’s Summit, Missouri and co-creator of both the Kansas City Yoga Festival and the Kansas City Yoga Teacher Training program. Joining Leah for this Costa Rica yoga retreat 2027 means practicing with a teacher who has dedicated her life to sharing yoga’s transformative power with as many people as possible.
Angie Eckenroth — Radiant Yoga
Angie came to yoga the way many do — through pain. Years of running left her with debilitating sciatica, and after just one yoga class in 2002 she felt more mobile than she had in years. That experience changed everything. She went on to complete her 200-hour teacher training and has since deepened her study into Yoga Therapy, training with Dr. Linda Rowe and Matthew J. Taylor of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
Angie brings a unique combination of yoga knowledge and a professional background in employee training — making her exceptionally skilled at guiding students through new learning. She is also the co-creator of the Kansas City Yoga Festival. This Costa Rica yoga retreat 2027 is an opportunity to practice with a teacher who understands transformation from the inside out.
