Testimonials

“Where do I even begin. I went on my first Salty Retreat with my close friend who had experienced one before. I was in dire need of a break from work and life. My stress was at an all-time high and after only a quick skim of the website and socials I was convinced it could be helpful. The price felt high at first, but then again the price and consequences of neglecting yourself are even higher. I decided it was a worthwhile investment and took the leap. What I didn’t realize heading into the retreat was that it would not only be helpful and a good investment, but that it would alter the course of my life and reshape my perspectives in wildly beautiful ways. The people I met truly became family. Everyone was there on their own path, with their own unique backgrounds, yet everyone had a shared almost inexplicable desire to support one another and foster connection. Whether it was with a laugh, an embrace, a celebration, a margarita or a listening ear, we bonded quickly over workouts, sunshine, dance parties and communal meals. The yoga classes and beach workouts were in the most stunning setting and met me where I was at both mentally and physically each day. The teachers encouraged free movement and expression and always felt fresh with different teaching styles and intensity options. Access to a cold plunge and having a facilitator properly guide and educate us on it was huge. Cold plunging is now a part of my regular routine. The same goes for breath work. The lessons and session was super powerful and breath work is now a major part of my toolkit and daily practice. The goal setting workshop was also a major highlight. The framework of the session coupled with the general feeling of alignment I felt during the retreat and support from strangers, ultimately helped me see clearly what I wanted and encouraged me to take action to make those dreams reality. Whether it was a meditation at the end of a yoga class, a group dance circle acting silly, swimming in the ocean with bioluminescence or just a life chat with new friends, Salty allowed me to let go of what was no longer serving me and make room for a new path, both during the week and upon returning home.Thank you to Salty for facilitating this amazing experience. Thank you to Erin and Nate for your passion, energy and incredible organization skills. I got a TON out of my first retreat and can’t wait for others to as well!”

“I had such a great time that to describe it… I mean, can I do justice??? Everyday was different and equally fun: wake up, say hello to sun, bond with friends, workout like hell, sweat, learn new things, laugh, giggle, even more workout like hell, party, more party, and enjoy life and do that for a week. Everything optional except having fun. I highly recommend it as a right of passage.”
