This salad dressing is creamy and sweet- it’s a favorite here at Blue Osa, where we collect the starfruit from our trees. Since some varieties of star fruit are sweeter than others, adjust the honey to taste. You can whip this up in just minutes – impress someone today and try it!

Starfruit Salad Dressing

From the Kitchen of Blue Osa

Gluten Free, dairy free, fat-free & vegetarian

Ingredients:

3 starfruit (carambolas) – trim edges and ends.
2 Tb. balsamic vinegar
1/2 t. salt
1 T. vegetable oil
1 t. honey

Preparation:

  • Course-chop the starfruit (carambola) and combine all ingredients in a blender.
  • Process until smooth.
  • Keep some sliced fruit aside and use it for garnish.
  • Enjoy!
